Amy Blanchard joined GCDC in September of 2022 as site Director for the Horizon Program at Bullock. With the start of the New Year, she will transition to our preschool as their Site Director.
She comes to us with over 25 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. Amy has worked in many roles during her career. She has worked with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age children. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Education. She is passionate about social emotional education for children and building strong relationships. She enjoys working with staff and children to help each child meet their individual needs and foster their love for learning during these formative years.
During her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and her dog Maggie.
She also loves to create crafts and scrapbook.
Amy plans to continue attending classes and workshops around childcare and education to keep pace with the ever-changing trends and best practices for Early Childhood Education.
