Mariama Balde is seasoned mortgage lending and financial services professional with over a decade of experience in residential mortgage origination, CRA and community lending, and relationship management within leading financial institutions. She currently serves as an Account Executive Loan Officer at Columbia Bank where she focuses on expanding access to homeownership through first-time homebuyer education and community outreach initiatives.
Mariama has held progressive roles, values strong production performance, compliance excellence and client advocacy. In addition to her financial services career, she is a military veteran of the United States Army National Guard, where she serves as a team and squad leader.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computing Technology with a minor in Business Administration from Arcadia University and is multilingual in French, Wolof and Pulsar. Mariama is honored to serve on the Board of Glassboro Child Development Centers, where she is committed to advancing access to quality early childhood education and supporting families in the community.
