Debra Wall has been employed in local and federal government agencies in Washington DC and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although those positions were rewarding, it was not until she became a part of the children’s ministry at her church that she realized her passion and purpose. This became a desire, not only to serve children within her church but to also provide a nurturing environment where children would be placed on a path to a bright future. Consequently, after a considerable amount of planning and involvement in an intensive business training program, the center opened in 2007. Debra owned and operated the center for 13 years, as the Executive Director.
Debra remains committed to her desire to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. As a Board member of GCDC, she will continue to contribute to the field of early education. Debra holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Camden County College and a bachelor’s degree in human services from Grace Christian University.
She and her husband Bill have resided in South Jersey for 29 years and have two married adult children and two beautiful granddaughters.
